BREAKING IN : 6.3 magnitude earthquake hits southern Iran; 5 killed, 44 injured.
Five people have died and 44 others have been wounded due to a magnitude 6.3 earthquake that hit southern Iran on Saturday, state media reported.
Sayeh Khosh village, 1,000 kilometres south of capital Tehran, in the Hormozgan province has been identified as the epicentre.
Tremors from the earthquake were felt in many neighbouring countries, as per the state media.
